Obviously, I have more characters than the ones you see on this page. These are just the ones I draw a lot, to help you get more familiar with my 'world'.

The ones that feature in my novels will eventually have their own space as well. :)

The Cataroose
My signature character.
She's a taxidermy accident gone wrong - effectively, she's a kittycat, with antlers and a pouch!
She's not really a 'character' as such, just a means for me to put myself into a drawing. I've always loved cats, and since her original creation in 1997 as 'Cally Cat' (sans antlers + pouch), she's always been there, tentatively.

  Tika-Tiri
Tika-Tiri is a green fox spirit, related to several of the other spirits in my "Patchwork Plane".
She is responsible for fun, happiness and games, and as such, she's a mischievious and playful spirit.
She and the black and white beaded necklace she wears can change into various items, depending on necessity. (i.e: her beads can become a deck of cards, she can become another animal, etc.)

  Horse
Horse is an elusive, 8ft tall omnivore who mostly likes to roam forests and swamps, keeping himself to himself.
He once believed himself to be the last of his kind, until he met Flambe, a yellow shapeshifter who can often appear similar to his species. Because of this, he has a sort of love/hate relationship with her.
His only real friend is the tiny being known as Green, and the two are often found drinking and conversing, somehow, together.

  Green
Green is, like his friend Horse, quite an elusive character.
He is described best as a diminuative green blob with no physical features other than a pair of eternally perplexed eyes.
It's said he has a wife and children and that he is an excellent philosopher...though with no mouth, how does he convey his thoughts?

  Dhani
One of the many spirits that wander the Patchwork Plane, Dhani is the living embodiment of music, and this enigmatic creature can play and emulate any instrument, mimic any voice, sound or noise, but cannot speak any word that has not already been sung. He can't actually "speak" at all.
Like his sister, Tika-Tiri, Dhani has transformative powers, but he can only change his size, rather than shape.
He wears a mask at all times, and nobody has ever seen what he looks like beneath it.

  Snort
Snort is a dream eater. In appearance, he looks like a cross between a tapir, wild boar and babirousa, and is often confused with the spirits that live among the Plane, but is in reality a friendly demon.
He feeds on dreams but avoids nightmares unless they are recurring and plague their dreamer's subconscious.
He has a heart of gold, though he appears a little rough around the edges, and though he's a bit un-nerving, frank and scruffy, he means well.

  Azanti
Azanti lurks the Plane and other worlds with a somewhat frosty, at times seductive, demeanor spouting tales about her being a goddess - or alternatively, that she is posessed by one.
She is a master storyteller, and likes to travel the lands collecting new tales to tell.
She has been known to have several adventures herself and not much is really known of her real history, or even how old she is or where she came from. It is a widespread fact, however, that she knows how to perform voodoo, and once killed a crocodile king.

  Sambuca
Sambuca is a nomadic white Barbary lion who likes nothing better than to travel and learn about other cultures.
It is said he got his name from the famous alcoholic drink while travelling in Italy, where it originated.
His mane is so long and awkward to care for, it has become tangled into dreadlocks here and there where he weaves beads and other keepsakes from his travels.
On the whole, Sambuca is a chilled and happy soul, and one of the very few "real" animals that exist within and out of the Patchwork Plane.

  Soliloquy
Often also called Soleil, this quiet and very reserved spirit is Dhani's twin sister, and like him, she also wears a mask. She has no transformative powers, but instead appears as a muse, inspiring others to write stories, poetry - anything really, as long as it is writing-related.
Her pink tail holds in its plumes a mysterious blue orb. Some say this is the key to all the inspiration Soliloquy gives out.

  Karma
Karma appears a lake, or any other body of water where she decides to make her presence known.
She also shows herself as a strange looking spirit - iridescent, with the body of a bullfrog, front talons of a bird, and the head of a woman. She has faint facial markings, but only her mouth is really seen - which can be coy and smiling, or wide and full of powerful, sharp teeth!
Like her namesake, Karma appears as a kind, rewarding spirit or a vengeful, ferocious one, and can change her appearance or actions just so.
She is mostly a warning wearing a red smile.

  Staccato
Staccato is a little blue cat that appeared one day in the Plane via a dream Snort was sloppily snacking on, and he liked it so much, he stuck around.
He took an instant liking to Dhani because of their similarities in appearance, and from that day, the pair have been practically inseperable - apart from the times Staccato disappears to do whatever it is cats do...

  Flambe
Flambe is a mysterious shapeshifter who can appear as a yellow humanoid with animalistic features (horns, a small tail, etc) or as a creature that looks strikingly similar to Horse except that she walks on two legs. She tells Horse that she is simply an evolved form of him, much to his chagrin.
As might be expected from her name, Flambe has pyrokinetic powers and can create and control fire. Her personality can be described as quite firey as well, and she isn't someone you'd like to be against in a fight...

  Feral
Feral is a spirit sibling. He also wears a mask, that of an unidentifiable, ancient, herbivore skull. It can be removed, unlike Soliloquy's and Dhani's, and underneath is row upon row of teeth, multiple eyes, and a ferocious bite.
He is a reclusive, angry creature that likes to live and lurk in caves. He is the embodiment of the feral, animalistic psyche, and he is raw, passionate, powerful and quite forboding.
He doesn't mean to be so frightening, he just appears that way, and once you gain his trust, and he gains yours, he can be a powerful ally.
That said: those that know him, should watch their backs.

  The Wolves
The three headed 'wolf spirits' are the final set of spirit siblings that lurk the Patchwork Plane.
They are a red cerberus, each head representing a different emotion or ideal - one is constantly angry, foaming and gnashing teeth. Another is constantly sad, mournful and often howling for attention. The final is that which represents 'normality', though the other two heads very often silence this one.
The Wolves don't have a set gender - they can appear as male or female, and each head can disconnect from the body to venture off as it's own creature.

  The Dewberry Kittenbud
A very odd creature in appearance, this animal looks like a small wild cat with very long front claws, thick fur, and a flower for a head.
It is also a spirit, though not related to the Spirit Siblings, and is probably better described as a sort of faerie or imp.
It is responsible for horticulture and the growing of natural things - flowers, grass, fungi, you name it.
It can duplicate itself to work on its very labourious, important and often tedious task.
